Optimal Wholeness & The Power of our View
It is often a challenge as human beings to recognize & live into the fact that we are created by God to be more then mere flesh & blood bodies walking the earth. Our bodies are so visible & demand so much attention it is easy to forget that as beings created in the image of God we are comprised of not only a physical Body but are also comprised of a Mind & a Spirit.
Optimal Wholeness
It is often a challenge as human beings to recognize & live into the fact that we are created by God to be more then mere flesh & blood bodies walking the earth. Our bodies are so visible & demand so much attention it is easy to forget that as beings created in the image of God we are comprised of not only a physical Body but are also comprised of a Mind & a Spirit. All three: Mind, Body & Spirit overlap & intersect to create the Soul of the person. The Soul is the personalized expression of our indwelling Divine Spirit. It is through the Soul that we are able to transcend the brokenness, dis-ease & limitations that are part of earthly life & to live into the fullness of whole health. It is when the Mind, Body & Spirit intersect in balance & harmony that ultimate wholeness & healing occur.
The Power of our View
Whole health is what God desires for all of us. As with all things in in life, God gives us the free will to make choices that affect our health & healing. The choices we make are born out of the views that we hold. The fact is that in addition to God’s view & desire for optimal healing for us, there are many other different views that we encounter through our living that contribute to influencing the choices we make concerning how we live. Not all views we encounter are in harmony with or support God’s view for us. Some messages or views cloud our vision & make us blind to the choices God lays before us that lead to optimal healing. Misguided views such as; limiting message that are no longer true, or messages of fear, or views of judgements that cause doubt, all blind us to new possibilities that open up windows of growth & healing for us. The view we embrace be it from God, others, or the view we develop ourselves defines us & thus affect the manner in which we receive & live into the ultimate wholeness & healing God offers us.
