Meal planning can sound like an overwhelming task but there are ways to make it a lot easier. I like to start with taking a look at what I already have in my fridge or pantry. Next, I think about what type of protein I want to have. Then I see what I can come up with after that, making sure to ask myself - "Do I have enough veggies and a healthy fat?"
Let's say I have some bell peppers and cabbage in the fridge, and I'm planning to buy a bulk package of chicken. How can I add more veggies and where's my healthy fat? I'll plan for chicken fajitas with sauteed mushrooms, peppers, and onions and top it off with some guacamole.
