Colorectal Cancer Rescreening – Cologuard Kit on the Way

If our records indicate that you are past due for your colorectal cancer re-screening, and you have previously completed a Cologuard test, we’ve submitted a new order. Your updated Cologuard kit will be mailed directly to your home. Please keep an eye out for its arrival in the coming days, and complete as soon as possible.

How to use your Cologuard kit:
 

Once you and your provider have determined that Cologuard is right for you, you will follow these steps to complete your at home screening:

1. Receive and unpack your Cologuard kit. Check and use before expiration date.
2. Place your sample container into the toilet bracket.
3. Use your Cologuard kit to collect your sample.
4. Scrape your sample, then fill the sample container with preservative.
5. Schedule a UPS pickup with the prepaid label. Ship your kit back to Cologuard the same or next day after collection.

Plan to collect your sample when you can get it back to UPS that same or next day.  You can schedule to have your kit picked up by UPS or drop it off at a UPS location near you.  Remember, some locations are closed on Sundays or holidays.

When will your provider receive your results?

Test results are usually sent from Cologuard to your Inspired Health Group provider within 2 weeks.  You can conveniently view your test results 24/7 in your patient portal account.  Call our office today to activate your account.
