Patients with a Rite Aid Pharmacy need to update their Patient Record

We are aware of the recent announcement regarding the closure of Rite Aid pharmacies by the end of the month.  If you have a Rite Aid pharmacy assigned as your primary pharmacy with Inspired Health Group, you need to update your patient record.  At your earliest convenience, please select a new pharmacy for future scripts.  We will require one week to forward all prescriptions, unless it is an urgent matter.  

How to update your pharmacy on file: 

Patient Portal 

Once you have the name and address of the new pharmacy you would like to use, you can update your pharmacy information anytime in your patient portal by: 

  • Logging into your patient portal at IHGWNY.com 
  • Selecting “Account Info” in the left-hand column 
  • Selecting “Pharmacy” in the drop down under “Account Info” in the left-hand column 
  • Selecting “Edit” under the Rite Aid pharmacy you would like to update 
  • Entering the “City” and “Pharmacy” name to search for and select the new pharmacy you would like to use

If you are unable to update your pharmacy information using your patient portal, you can also call our care team to make changes to your medical record.  Our calling hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-3pm.  Please ensure you have the pharmacy name and address of your new pharmacy ready at the time of your call.

What is MEDENT patient portal?

The MEDENT Patient Portal provides you with secure, online access to portions of your medical records, as well as an easy and convenient way to communicate with our practice through a secure internet connection.  With a patient portal account you are able to:

  • Send and receive non-urgent messages and information from your doctor's office, including test results and educational material
  • Easily notify the practice of changes to your personal information, including phone number, address, pharmacy and insurance changes
  • Request a refill for a medication prescribed by a provider at the practice
  • View upcoming and previous appointments, including the doctor and location of those appointments
  • View and/or print your current medications and allergies list

 

How to sign up for MEDENT Patient Portal


In order to have a patient portal account you will need to already be a patient at our practice. To activate your account, you will need to receive an activation code from us. You can receive your activation code with instructions on how to activate your account by request at your next visit, or by calling our care team at 716-662-7008 during regular business calling hours. 

Once you have received the code, you will be able to create your own username, password, and other login information used to verify your identity.  Watch this video for simple step-by-step instructions on how to activate your patient portal! It is important to note that your password and verification code are case sensitive.  If you have any issues with activating or logging into your patient portal, please contact our care team.
