Overview of Position:
As a valuable member of our healthcare team, the Licensed Practical Nurse & Medical Assistant will play an important role in delivering patient-focused care. Cultivating strong connections with patients, your primary focus will be understanding their individual care needs while upholding strict adherence to infection control policies, medication administration protocols, and regulated substance guidelines. Key responsibilities encompass meticulous documentation of patient care services, oversight of nursing supplies inventory, and proficient utilization of equipment and supplies to ensure optimal outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer Vaccinations and Injections
- Obtain vital signs, and update electronic medical records with detailed medical, personal, social, and family histories.
- Review and reconcile medications,
- Perform various medical procedures and testing
- Obtain and coordinate necessary test results, labs, consults, x-rays, etc., for provider review before/during visits
- Assist providers in completing clinical forms and provide patient education on test results.
- Triaging patient calls
- Effectively communicate physician orders to patients.
