Jif brand has recalled numerous peanut butter products linked to an outbreak of salmonella.

We urge our patients and Buffalo community to check the packaging of any Jif products in their home to ensure their safety.  You can use this guide from Jif to compare product codes and see if a product in your pantry could be containmentated.  

If a product in your home is identified as an impacted product, please dispose of it to avoid sicking yourself or others.  Since the recall was announced by Jif, additional companies that manufacture foods containing Jif peanut butter have issued recalls

How to be reimbursed for a Recalled Jif product

Jif has stated that they will reimburse customers for recalled products.  Customers are encouraged to fill out a Product Refund Form on Jif's website.
