Free Rabies Vaccination Clinics for Cats, Ferrets and Dogs this Fall!

What is Rabies?

Rabies is a deadly disease caused by a virus that attacks the nervous system.  Once the outward signs of the disease appear, rabies is nearly always fatal.  Getting your pet vaccinated for rabies is one way to help prevent the spread of rabies and keep you and your family safe.

Free Rabies Vaccination Clinics for Cats, Dogs & Ferrets 

Register: Saturday, September 10, 2022: 9 am - 1 pm, Erie Community College - South Campus, Orchard Park (drive-through)
Register: Saturday, September 24, 2022: 9 am - 1 pm, Erie County Emergency and Training Operations Center, Cheektowaga (drive-through)
Register: Saturday, October 8, 2022: 9 am - 1 pm, Broadway Market, Buffalo (walk-through)

Things to know before coming to our rabies vaccination clinics:

  • Dogs, cats and ferrets 3 months of age and older are eligible for this clinic.
  • Up to three pets will be accepted per appointment.
  • Limit number of people in vehicle.
  • Wear a mask.
  • Appropriately restrain pets in a carrier or collar and short leash; no retractable or extended leashes.
  • Bring proof of pet's vaccination in order to receive a three-year vaccination certificate, otherwise a one-year certificate will be given.
  • Please contact your veterinarian for vaccination information and for any questions you have regarding your pets.
